By now she has mastered the skill of acting through her various applaud worthy performances, but there are a few things that Alia Bhatt wants to learn and explore. The lady who recently celebrated her 24th birthday, is willing to take a good six-months break to do what she likes.
In her latest interview, Alia revealed that she is going on a six-month long break to explore some new form of art. She stated, “My next, Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Dragon’ starts in September. Until then I am going to be bettering my craft, learning new skills, imbibing untried experiences.”
She further expressed her desire to learn piano and Kathak. “I want to learn to play the piano. I want to learn Kathak too,” she quipped to a leading daily.
It’s a good thing to take a break and be in a position to be able to do what one wants. So indeed, there’s a risk in it too. On this, Alia says, “I want to be more equipped as an actor. I realise acting is not just about what you do when you’re facing the camera. There’s a lot more thought that goes into it. I am trying to gather as many experiences as possible.”
We would say go for it, lady! (Also Read: Alia Bhatt to organise a special screening of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ for NGO kids)
A strongly opinionated, free-spirited, budding Bollywood journalist, she likes to write anything in her own quirky style. When not running around to get assigned tasks completed, you will find her either painting, indulging in photography or dreaming in the la la land.
