Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan marked their debut together with Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year’. Their chemistry only gets better with time, and we will soon see a piece of it in their upcoming release ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’.
The two are on a promotional spree right now. While talking to a leading daily, Alia revealed how she wants to become a comedy actress one day and how she closely observes Varun while he does comedy sequences.
“He (Varun) is so good at comedy, I observe him when he’s doing his scenes. One day, I want to be a comedy actress,” the ‘Highway’ actress said. (Also Read: Did Alia Bhatt just reveal Ranveer Singh’s look from ‘Gully Boy’?)
“My aspirations to become an actress came from watching Govinda and Karisma Kapoor. They were a lethal combination. Even Kareena Kapoor Khan, Juhi Chawla, Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi. They can all do comedy effortlessly. It’s brilliant and not easy. It’s in fact the toughest kind of acting to do. I am a funny person and I want that to come out on screen. I want people to laugh at me… sorry… with me,” she added.
That sounds interesting! Varun surely is becoming a more seasoned comedy actor. Add a mentor like David Dhawan to that. We hope Alia soon bags a comedy character too.
Meanwhile, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ will be hitting the theatres on March 10.
