Alia Bhatt says Sidharth Malhotra has the potential to be the biggest superstar

There have been a lot of reports that Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra are dating each other. It was also said that Alia didn’t want Sid to work with Shraddha Kapoor again after ‘Ek Villain’. However, recently the actress revealed that she is single and Sidharth is an important friend in her life. She also stated that Sidharth has the potential to be the biggest superstar of the country.

Clearing the air about all the things, Alia stated, “Let me just say this loud and clear — I am single and Sid is a supportive and extremely important friend in my life and will always be that. As a friend, rather than asking him not to do films with any actress, I keep telling Sid to work with every person because I think he has all the charm, talent and sexiness in the world and the potential to become the biggest superstar of this country! Never in my life, will we ever tell each other what we should or should not do.”

Talking about her film with Varun Dhawan, the actress said, “‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ is a very special project for Varun, director Shashank Khaitan and me. We are all coming back together for the second time.”

Alia is currently gearing up for the release on ‘Udta Punjab’ which hits the screens tomorrow.
