Alia Bhatt – Sidharth Malhotra in Ram Lakhan remake?

Bollywood’s showman Subhash Ghai’s hit 1989 film ‘Ram Lakhan’ is being remade. Film-makers Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty are coming together for it’s remake. They have finalised the cast of the remake of film too.

The original version of ‘Ram Lakhan’ had Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia and Madhuri Dixit Nene, reportedly the remake will feature actors Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. Sidharth is likely to portray Jackie Shroffs role of Ram in the movie, while Fawad might be seen as Lakhan. Alia Bhatt will be depictig the role of Madhuri Dixit.

Karan Johar who had signed up Fawad Khan for his Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka Sharma-starrer upcoming film, was so impressed with his work that he offered him Lakhan’s role in the Ram Lakhan remake.
