Alia Bhatt to croon new version of ‘Ikk Kudi’ with Diljit Dosanjh

‘Udta Punjab‘ is all set to fly, as the High Court has given the makers permission to release the film with a single cut. Now some more good news for the fans. Gamine beauty Alia Bhatt is all set to croon a new version of the popular track ‘Ikk Kudi’ with Punjabi film sensation Diljit Dosanjh.

The song that is already ruling the charts, was originally sung by Diljit. Now Alia who is depicting the role of a Bihari migrant hockey player in the movie, will be singing along with her co-star Diljit for the new version.

Sources said, “Alia-Diljit lately collaborated musically on a third version which is yet to be released. The duo also shot for a music video recently in Versova dressed up to resemble an underground garage-band set. Alia, dressed in all-black denims cut off at the knees, recorded the single in her inimitable style with Diljit guiding her through it.”

Confirming the news and praising Diljit, Alia Bhatt said, “He toured London recently and jamming with him was fun. The video gave me a chance to interact with him as we don’t have any scenes together in the film. I want to see how his fans react to us singing together. He is a far more beautiful singer.”

Alia also revealed that one day she will be releasing an entire album of her songs.
