Amitabh Bachchan takes an important step towards gender equality

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who is always applauded for his progressive outlook, has now taken another step towards gender equality. In a Twitter post that he shared last night, he declared that his properties were going to be shared equally among daughter Shweta and son Abhishek, after his demise.

Big B’s strong stand on various relevant issues have time and again earned our respect. In an earlier instance, he wrote a letter to his granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda, encouraging her to take her own path in life and never be knocked down by what the society said.

Into 2017, and we are still struggling hard to find meaning of equal social rights. In fact, congested by the moral police and pseudo reformers, it gets worse day by day. At such a time, these gestures come like a splash of fresh air. Right?

We hope his act inspires many to walk the same way.
