Anushka Sharma salutes the Armed forces of India

Since the news of heavy rainfall, flooding Chennai has made it to the headlines, a lot of celebrities are coming forward to help the people affected by the flood.  From contributing to a relief fund to spreading awareness about the helpline numbers through their social media handles, our Bollywood celebrities are doing their bit to support the people of Chennai.

One of such celebrities is Anushka Sharma, who has been extremely active on Twitter informing people about the rescue operations and the organizations working for the same. Apart from this, the tall lady also appreciated the hard work put in by our Indian army to save the lives of people keeping their own lives at stake. She recently saluted the rescue operation carried out by Army officials in Chennai with a series of tweets. She posted a video wherein we can see a chopper airlifting a pregnant lady and her post acknowledged the efforts of the army.
