Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan are all praise for each other

Bollywood’s Begum Kareena Kapoor Khan and the hunk Arjun Kapoor are teaming up for the first time, with R Balki’s ‘Ki & Ka‘. While the film promises to introduce another successful on-screen couple, looks like the co-stars simply can’t get enough of each other!

“Arjun and I are great friends and we share a comfort level with each other. I’m really proud of him for doing the film as very few actors would have had the courage to play this kind of a role”, said Kareena. Arjun, on the other hand, showered bags of appreciation on Kareena. “What I love about Kareena is that she comes on the set without any airs of being a star. She is one of the finest and most spontaneous actors,” he said.

‘Ki & Ka’ has a refreshing yet strong concept where the man and woman in a family have swapped their responsibilities. While the husband manages the house, the wife goes out to work, earn and run the family. The film is expected to give out strong messages against gender roles forced upon human beings by the society. However, Balki also describes the film as a light, funny, romantic film.

‘Ki & Ka’ hits the theatres on April 1, 2016.
