Arjun Rampal: I don’t know, who is saying Farhan is playing Dawood Ibrahim

We had earlier shared a picture from the sets of actor Arjun Rampal‘s upcoming ‘Daddy’. The picture had been leaked online, and featured the actor along with his friend and ‘Rock On!!’ co-star Farhan Akhtar. This leaked picture was much in the news as it saw Farhan (who would be making a guest appearance in the movie) carrying the look of don Dawood Ibrahim in this biopic made on gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli (played by Rampal). But recently, Arjun Rampal has made a surprising yet shocking revelation saying that he is as clueless as everyone about Farhan Akhtar’s role in ‘Daddy’.

While talking about it to an agency, Arjun Rampal said, “I don’t know, who is saying he is playing Dawood, you (media) all are saying that (Farhan is playing Dawood). It’s a surprise for me and for the film.”

Further, the actor even talked about his disappointment over the leaked picture that saw Farhan and him as the makers wanted to keep the look of Arjun (an onset picture of him has also got leaked previously) and Farhan under wraps.

“I was very upset when the look was out as somebody sneakily took (captured) the picture. It is very disappointing. I am not happy. There is a technique. We have spend time on all this and I wanted to unveil the look in a special way,” added the actor.

Certainly, this statement of Arjun about Farhan’s role in ‘Daddy’ makes us wonder now that what surprise has been kept in store for the fans.

Only time will tell.

Coming back to films, Arjun Rampal will be seen next in ‘Kahaani 2’ which also stars Vidya Balan. It is slated to release on December 2.
