Athiya Shetty refutes rumours of dating ‘Mubarakan’ co-star Arjun Kapoor

It’s not uncommon for celebs to be linked up while working on a movie. Now, as the promotions of Anees Bazmee’s ‘Mubarakan’ have kickstarted, actors Arjun Kapoor and Athiya Shetty are rumoured to be dating. However, the actress has vehemently denied these rumours.

Speaking to a leading daily, she said, “This rumour has become very boring now. I don’t take it too seriously. I know Arjun very well. I have known him before the movie’s shooting even started. His sister Anshula Kapoor and I are very close friends. Our equation might be new for you but it isn’t for us. I have known Arjun since the beginning itself, hence the rumours became a very big thing.” So, that ends all speculations of them being a couple.

Athiya also spoke about her experience of working on the movie. She said, “I feel blessed to be here. It is my second film. I am proud of myself. Had a fab journey and I learnt so much watching and observing. Talking about the movie, it stars Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty in lead roles. The movie is all set to release on July 28, 2017.
