Atif Aslam’s single with Ileana D’Cruz in trouble following the ban on Pakistani artistes?

Following the depressing Uri attacks, there was a ban imposed on Pakistani artistes featuring in Bollywood films. Karan Johar’s recent release, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘, suffered a lot of opposition from the political parties as it featured Fawad Khan. Somehow, the makers managed to convince the said parties and the film got a smooth release. Now, it’s Atif Aslam’s single with Ileana D’Cruz which seems to be in trouble.

Apparently, the release of a single produced by T-Series featuring Atif Aslam and Ileana D’Cruz is on stake. According to reports, makers have stalled the release of the same as of now. A source was quoted saying, “Since it features a Pakistani artiste, there is no way it can be released in the present circumstances. The producers have no option but to let it remain in cold storage. They are hoping things will change in the future when they can take a call.”
