The effects of Uri attack on Indian entertainment industry were deeper than you think. Not only did it lead to a ban on Pakistani artistes who were earlier free to work in India, but had also put on a question mark on release of films starring actors from Pakistan. Karan Johar‘s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ saw the light of day after much hassle. To ensure that his upcoming film ‘Raees’ has a smooth release, Shah Rukh Khan had to pay a visit to MNS honcho Raj Thackeray and promise to never work with a Pakistani actor again.
Promotions of ‘Raees’ have begun. Albeit, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan who plays the female lead, is nowhere to be seen. But you’d be wrong to think she is not concerned about it!

Mahira took to her Instagram and posted a black and white photo of herself wearing a white T-shirt which reads, ‘BATTERY SAALA’.
For those uninitiated, this is Mahira’s dialogue which you can watch in the trailer of ‘Raees’.
Not in India, but so what! All it took her to promote ‘Raees’ was to pose in a T-shirt which has her own dialogue written.
What an idea, Mahira ji!
