Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming magnum opus ‘Bajirao Mastani‘ is making news not only for it’s imminent clash with SRK – Kajol starrer Dilwale but also for it’s grand sets. The filmmaker known for his penchant of grandeur has surpassed himself with magnanimous sets created for the Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh starrer historical romance.
The most visited out of all the sets created by the master planner is the Sheesh Mahal, where the ‘Deewani Mastani’ song was picturized. Now the leggy beauty has let out a delightful news about how they have planned to turn the sets of the film into a museum for visitors.
Deepika at a recent event confided, “So much hard work went into creating it, and when we completed the shooting of our song ‘Deewani mastani,’ we did not want to dismantle the set. It looked like a museum and we actually thought of letting it be like that for visitors at Filmcity to come and see what goes into the making of these grand sets that we see on screen. We were planning to let that set remain so that people get to know about the effort that goes into creating these kind of masterpieces.”
Seems like after the trend set up by ‘Baahubali’ is soon to be followed by ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
