Bipasha Basu denied payment after attending an event in Bangalore

Actress Bipasha Basu recently conducted a yoga demonstration event in Bangalore which was organised by a private event management company called ‘Shwaasa’. However, on completion of the event which continues for around an hour, Bipasha is yet to receive her remuneration.

As per reports, the state Government is liable to bear the expenses of the event and Shwaasa forwarded them the amounts. However, a total amount of Rs 45 lakh for a one-hour event seemed unbelievable to the concerned authority and now they have demanded a detailed explanation for the expenses.

”No payments have been made to the private organisers so far. The programme was organised by the government and no formal invitation was extended by the state to Bipasha Basu. The government was in no way connected to her presence at Kanteerava Stadium and has no idea about the remuneration payable to her. The private partner (referring to Shwaasa) has submitted bills for various expenses and all of these are not acceptable.” said Subhash K Malkhede, director of AYUSH.
