In the month of April, a resident of Badrinath Tower Housing Society in suburban Versova, had filed a case against actress Anushka Sharma for installing an electric box in the common passage area of the building. But then BMC today has ruled out that Anushka Sharma hasn’t carried out any illegal installation and all the papers are in place.
As per the reports, the area in which the electric box has been installed belongs to Anushka’s father and hence, the installation is not illegal. A spokesperson has been quoted saying, “There is nothing illegal about any construction or installation. The actress owns three flats on the 20th floor and all the permissions since 2013 are in place. Anushka and her family are law abiding and responsible citizens and wouldn’t do anything to cause inconvenience or harm to anyone.”
On the other hand, Sunil Batra (the complainant) says that BMC is favouring Anushka just because she is a celebrity. (Also Read: When Anushka Sharma turned a saviour for her ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ team)
