Is ‘Bombay Velvet’ release preponed?

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was pretty miffed with Rakumar Hirani, to set the release date of  his Aamir Khan starrer ‘PeeKay’ on Christmas. The reason for his ire was that his magnum opus ‘Bombay Velvet’ too was set for a Christmas Release. But now it seems that the showdown between the two has been put to a rest, as  now it has emerged that ‘Bombay Velvet’s release date may be pushed back.

As per sources, “Bombay Velvet’s release date (December 25) was announced even before they started shooting for the film. But then it was announced that ‘Peekay’ would release on the same day. Now Fox Star Studios plans to release Bombay Velvet on another day, as it doesn’t want to take on Aamir’s film. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.”

Well lets wait and watch the developments on this front.
