Boney Kapoor confirms daughter Jhanvi’s Bollywood film with Karan Johar

It was recently reported that Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter, Jhanvi Kapoor is all set for her Bollywood debut with a Karan Johar film.

According to reports, the debut film is the proposed Hindi remake of the Marathi blockbuster ‘Sairat’, the rights of which have been acquired by Karan.

And now confirming that his daughter will be doing a film with Karan, father Boney said, “Yes, Karan has been talking to us about a film for Jhanvi and we’ve given consent. But we don’t know which project it would be. Since Karan has recently acquired the remake rights of ‘Sairat’, it is being presumed that our daughter would be launched in this project.”

The producer also said that Jhanvi is ready for a film career. “I see in my daughter the same focus and concentration on her chosen career as her mother. It’s never easy for star kids to make a place for themselves as they are invariably compared with their legendary parents. I hope Jhanvi won’t be compared with her mother, though.”

After so many speculations about her debut, we cannot wait to see the star kid on screen finally.
