Breaking: Shah Rukh Khan turns down film with Jackie Chan

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan had earlier turned down Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire a role that garnered much appreciation for Anil Kapoor. Now it seems that the Badshah has turned down another lucrative Hollywood offer. Yes King Khan has said no to working opposite international superstar Jackie Chan.

Recently the Khan was approached by a famous Hollywood studio with a movie offer. They wanted to cast the two stars together in their film. But Shah Rukh Khan has turned it down.

Sources said, The story of the Hollywood project revolved around two characters and one of them is on the look out for a tech expert for a mission. The tech expert was supposed to be Shah Rukh Khan, who would eventually go on a crazy ride with Jackie’s character. The leading studio had approached Gulshan Grover for a pivotal role and had requested him to sound off Shah Rukh to see if it would interest him. Gulshan contacted SRK a couple of months ago and discussed the project with him at length. But due to some logistical reason, SRK turned out the offer.”

Gulshan Grover said that, “Yes, I was approached for a role and I did speak to Shah Rukh about this project. But I can’t comment further on this.”
