Two-films old actress Diana Penty is now shooting for her third venture ‘Lucknow Central’ in the UP capital. An embodiment of expounding history and culture, the city welcomes guests with arms widened. Thus, it did not take the actress very long before she took a Toto rickshaw and started exploring the city.
Otherwise faced with frequent encounters with fans, Diana had a relatively more liberated experience in Lucknow as no one mobbed her. In a conversation with Mid-Day, she said how hopping around was so much fun!
“The people are so warm and there is so much history to the city. I did a bit of sightseeing. It was quite an experience,” she said. (Also Read: Abhay Deol, Ali Fazal and Diana Penty-starrer ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi‘ sequel to be shot in China)
We recently caught her indulging in chitchats with fans on Twitter who also sent their suggestions about the best Lucknowi food.
“I even asked for recommendations on Twitter and the responses were very helpful. The chaat and kebabs were to die for, not to mention the biryani. Now that summer is here, I wanted to buy a few pastel pieces for my wardrobe. I ended up buying a lot as gifts for friends and family as well,” giggled Diana, who visited the Lucknowi Chikankari Fare and of course came back with heavy shopping bags!
The actress will be seen playing an NGO worker in the Farhan Akhtar-starrer. Directed by Nikhil Advani, the film will hit the theatres later this year.
