Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after making a dhamakedar comeback in Sanjay Gupta’s thriller ‘Jazbaa’, will now be seen in a biopic titled ‘Sarbjit’. The film is based on the life and subsequent death of an Indian man incarcerated in a Pakistani prison. The makers of the film have shared the first look of their upcoming film.

The film is a story of an Indian farmer from Punjab who was convicted of terrorism in Pakistan and met his death in the prison. His sister Dalbir Kaur was vociferously fighting for his release by asking the Indian government to intervene but to no avail as Sarbjit was killed in a prison fight there.
The Omung Kumar directorial has Randeep Hooda essaying the role of Sarbjit, while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be playing his sister Dalbir Kaur and Richa Chada shall be seen essaying the roles of his wife.
