The first poster of Konkona Sen Sharma’s directorial debut ‘A Death In The Gunj’ is out and it looks indeed exceptional. While posters commonly feature the actors of the film, this one only shows a lonely path amidst a jungle.
‘A Death In The Gunj’ revolves around a person and his conflicted ideas on masculinity. The poster carries a certain kind of silent tension which we probably will find in the film too.
Konkona’s mother, eminent filmmaker-actress Aparna Sen, took to her social media account and wrote, “Coco’s first directorial venture being announced this afternoon. Gulzar Saab & Vishal Bhardwaj to be present. Mamma bursting with pride!” [sic]
The film has an ensemble cast of Vikrant Massey, Kalki Koechlin, Gulshan Devaiah, Om Puri and Ranvir Shorey, who also happens to be Konkona’s former husband.
