Sunil Grover-starrer upcoming flick ‘Coffee With D’, in its bits and parts, is promising to be an interesting take on a very famous journalist of Indian television and his desperate efforts of holding on to his drowning glory. The ‘D’ in the title refers to (in)famous underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. Arnab Ghosh (played by Sunil Grover), in the film, seeks an interview with Dawood to pull up the channel’s falling TRP.
Previously, a number of dialogues and words in the trailer had to be muted. And now, producer Vinod Ramani has received a threat call from a man claiming to be from Chota Shakeel’s (the right hand of Dawood Ibrahim) league. Sounds scary, isn’t it?

In the call that lasted for about 5 minutes, the caller threatens Ramani that the film should contain not a single sequence that might turn out to be negative for Dawood or his gang. He adds on to say that safety of the producer’s family would be at stake if he dared to make fun of Dawood. ‘Change the dialogues’, he is seen ordering.

Ramani, in response, tried to explain that they didn’t intend to make fun of the don and wouldn’t make a similar film in future.
