Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘2.0’ seems to have landed into a legal soup. Unfortunately, a case is being filed against a members of the crew of this film for allegedly mishandling photojournalists.
If reports are to be believed than two photojournalists were attacked by a few crew members of the film for allegedly trying to question the makers as to why had they blocked the road in Thiruvallikeni or Triplicane. Photojournalists probed whether the makers had prior permission to block the road, and this apparently irked the crew members and hence, they attacked them.
Now, the Chennai Police is looking into the matter. The journalists have lodged a complaint against film’s production manager, a bouncer, and the director S Shankar’s nephew. A senior officer stated that a FIR would be lodged soon after the investigation. He was quoted saying, “We are investigating. We would make arrests if it warrants.”
When the incident took place, superstar Rajinikanth was not on sets. The film has reached near completion with a song and few shots left  for shooting. (Also Read: Rajinikanth offers condolences to Kamal Haasan on the demise of his elder brother Chandrahasan)
However, later on, film’s director Shankar apologised for the same. He said, “I am sorry. I shall ensure incidents like this don’t repeat. It has happened without my knowledge.”
Okay then!
