CONFIRMED – Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Akhtar are getting divorced

Yesterday, a shocking news of Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani Akhtar heading for a split made it to the headlines. A news like this was completely unexpected and came like a shocker for everyone. We considered, Farhan and Adhuna’s pair, as one of an ideal couple in the tinsel town. So, the news of two heading for a split was distressing.

Since the time this news made it to the headlines a lot of speculations and assumptions are being made. Some considered it to be a true whereas some brushed it off saying that it is a rumour. But, we have now received the official confirmation that Farhan and Adhuna have decided to separate. An official statement has been issued by the celebrity couple which reads, “This is to announce that we, Adhuna and Farhan, have mutually and amicably decided to separate. Our children remain our priority and it is immensely important to us, as responsible parents, that they be protected from unwarranted speculation and public glare. We sincerely request that we are given the privacy that is required at this time to move forward in a dignified manner.”

It’s really heart wrenching to know that after spending 16 years of their life creating memories with each other, Farhan and Adhuna have given up on their relationship. The reason behind this split is being speculated that the two have grown apart over the years. Yet another reason which is making it to the headlines is that Farhan has grown closer to one of his co-stars from his upcoming film. Whatever the reason be are deeply saddened to know that Farhan and Adhuna have called it quits.
