Confirmed! Ronit Roy to play Michael in Tiger Shroff’s ‘Munna Michael’

Sabbir Khan’s ‘Munna Michael’ has Tiger Shroff playing Munna, a crazy and obsessed fan of music legend Michael Jackson. We earlier reported that Nawazuddin Siddiqui would also be a part of the film. But then, a pleasant surprise was in store!

Contrary to what everyone thought, Nawaz won’t be playing Michael’s role. In stead, actor Ronit Roy has been roped in for the same!

During a conversation with SpotBoye, the actor confirmed the same.

“The name of the film ideally should have been Michael Munna as Tiger Shroff is the Munna and I’m Michael in the film,” Ronit said.

“The story is about me finding Munna lying in the garbage bin, and how I bring him up. The story is all about dancing and I play the role of a failed Bollywood dancer. It’s an interesting, loving, and funny character. The love for his child keeps him going in the film. Sabbir who’s the director, has projected me in a different light, something that audience has never seen and hopefully will like,” he added.

That sounds so interesting! Ronit will also share a dance number with Tiger which is kind of a fusion of the old and contemporary dancing styles.

‘Munna Michael’ also stars debutante Niddhi Agerwal and will hit the screens in mid 2017.
