Confirmed: Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif to unite for Aanand L. Rai’s next

Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, together, had showed off their acting prowess in the 2012 film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, and all three of them had made for a fantastic trio. The film was a hit and audiences loved the trio’s chemistry. Well, once again we are going to see them together in one frame. Director Aanand L. Rai has managed to cast all three in his next film. We all have known for sometime that Shah Rukh Khan would be playing a dwarf in this film, but there was no confirmation about the leading lady. However, we have now learnt that SRK is going to have company of two leading ladies, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, in this film.

The director himself confirmed the same to a leading daily. He stated, “I am at a point in life when I want to do something challenging. And, when you get an opportunity to work with actors like these, you don’t want to miss it. All three characters have a newness about them. The film is not a rom-com or a pure love story. It’s about new-age relationships. I can’t talk about Katrina’s or Anushka’s characters. While everyone knows that SRK plays a dwarf, there’s a lot more to it than just that.”

Citing that there is some connection between all the three characters, Rai further stated, “There is something that keeps them glued to each other. The story is such that one enters when the other leaves.”
