‘Dangal’ effect: Aamir Khan to be felicititated at Motibagh Akhara in Kolhapur

With Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ nearing it’s release, there is a lot of buzz around the film. The trailer has left everyone impressed and even the dialogue promos are receiving a lot of appreciation. On the same note, the wrestling community of Kolhapur too is quite impressed with Aamir Khan’s efforts. So much that they have decided to felicitate Aamir Khan for his efforts.

Veteran wrestler Rustam-e-Hind Dadu Chaugle, who heads Motibagh Akhara in Kolhapur, has invited Aamir Khan to Kolhapur to honour him with an award. Aamir has received an invitation from the veteran wrestler who is highly impressed with Aamir’s  idea of getting kushti to mainstream through the movie. Hence, they wish to honour him.

Rustam-e-Hind Dadu Chaugle’s son Vinod Choughle, also a pehlwaan, was quoted saying, “The trailer of ‘Dangal’ is really impressive. My father knows Mahavir Phogat [wrestling coach whom Aamir will essay on screen] and we have always been inspired by his work and admire him. Aamir has done a brilliant job and looks like an actual wrestler in the film.”

‘Dangal’ directed by Nitesh Tiwari is set to release on December 23, 2016.
