Daughter visits Mohit Suri on ‘Half Girlfriend’ set

Filmmaker Mohit Suri’s one-year-old daughter Devi has joined her father on the sets of upcoming movie ‘Half Girlfriend’. The movie that stars Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name.

Mohit Suri posted a picture of his daughter and tweeted,

Mohit and his wife actress Udita Goswami welcomed Devi last year in January. The director had inked his daughter’s name as he wants to have her memories with him while traveling to the many places for the shoot of the Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer.

The makers of the movie were busy with the shoot in Delhi University recently, they had enrolled more than 200 students to be a part of the flick. The reason being that the scenes in the film demanded college students, so instead of going for junior artistes, the coordinators have chosen DU students.

‘Half Girlfriend’ that went on floors in June, is scheduled for a worldwide release on April 28, 2017.
