Deepika Padukone gets nostalgic on 7 years of ‘Love Aaj Kal’

In the year 2009, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali came back with ‘Love Aaj Kal,’ after the smashing hit of ‘Jab We Met’. Naturally, the expectations were quite high. Plus, the trailer promised a unique combination of two love stories, belonging to two eras, two different generations.

The film released, and won the hearts of critics and audience alike. ‘Love Aaj Kal’ was a success, even after being a concept which was both unique and ahead of its time. After a long time, we had a love story that wasn’t just drama and melodrama, but was actually about the pain and love in the calmness and did manage to touch many hearts. The one thing that was loved by the viewers was Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan’s chemistry.

The movie hit the theatres on 31st July, seven years ago and a nostalgic Deepika, took to Twitter to share one of her looks from the film.
