Deepika Padukone is scared and wide-eyed in this latest still from ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’

Deepika Padukone’s Hollywood debut film ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage‘ is creating quite a strong buzz among her fan base in India and overseas. Reportedly, the actress would be seen playing the role of Serena Unger, a femme fatale who is more as a helping hand to Vin Diesel’s character Xander Cage in his latest covert mission. As the film is currently on the editing table, we have caught upon a latest still of our very own ‘Mastani’ shared by director DJ Caruso.

Looking at this picture, Serena aka Deepika is seen giving an expression of fear and more caught in a tense kind of mood. Perhaps this still may open to a scene where Deepika is facing her enemy during one of her missions.

Certainly, after the first teaser of this popular action franchise has been released, much of Deepika’s fans are waiting to see more of the actress. As comparatively, she was seen very less in this teaser leaving many slightly disappointed.

But as they say, it was just the beginning and more has to come from this movie featuring Vin Diesel which may indeed turn a delightful treat for everyone.

‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ is slated to release on January 20, 2017.
