Deepika Padukone is not leaving Bollywood for Hollywood

Deepika Padukone made her Hollywood debut this year with the film ‘xXx: Return Of Xander Cage’. There have been reports that the actress is getting a couple of offers from the West. However, Deepika is not leaving Bollywood for Hollywood.

She said, “I am very well aware of my home and my roots, so that’s never going to change. I look at it (working in Hollywood) as an extension of my creativity and the ability to work in a different environment with different people.”

“But I think that the people in the film industry come together to tell amazing stories to touch and influence lives through the work that we do and that was one such opportunity for me,” the actress added. Deepika currently has ‘Padmavati’ in her kitty in which she plays the titular role. The shooting of the film has been stalled due to the back-to-back attacks on the sets of the film.
