Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the grandeur of his sets is always the talk of the town. The filmmaker ensures to make his actors look royal in every way, be it the movie sequences or the songs.
The filmmaker will soon start shooting for his next ‘Padmavati’ and has recreated the Chittorgarh fort on a set for the royal ‘Ghoomar’ song, which will be performed by Deepika Padukone, the female lead in the film. The set took about 40 days to be made and with over a hundred people involved in its setup.
Not just this, the designers have used Rajasthani paintings as part of the wall design and 400 diyas have been used to light the set. It apparently took over two days to light up the whole set. Chari dancers (authentic fire dancers) from Kishangarh and Terahtaali musicians from Jaipur are called to perform in the song.

A source says, “Ghoomar will be the first song SLB shoots for the film, and everything from the visuals, to the sound, to the sets is being carefully planned and put together. It will be a complete royal experience and the final look will leave people spellbound.”
‘Padmavati’ also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles.
