Did Ranveer Singh just confirm signing ‘Ram Lakhan’?

Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar are collaborating to remake the yesteryear classic ‘Ram Lakhan’ that had Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff in titular roles. This development was welcomed with open arms. Speculations were rife about actors who will be depicting the role of Ram and Lakhan in the remake. From Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra many names cropped up, but none was confirmed by the makers.

Recently, at a product launch event, Ranveer Singh hinted that he might be soon collaborating for a ‘dhamaka’ film with Rohit Shetty. He said, “Rohit Shetty is an awesome director. I really think he is the king of commercial, masala films. I would love to collaborate with him. I have met him a bunch of times and we really, really get along. I love that he is a really simple man, a sincere man. He has a closely knit team who work wonderfully together. I am really looking forward to collaborating with him. Like I said, nothing is formalized or finalized, but given the opportunity and if everything falls into place, hopefully, I will be in a big, Rohit Shetty dhamaka very soon.”

Ranveer will soon start shooting for Aditya Chopra’s directorial ‘Befikre’ that has him romancing Vaani Kapoor on screen.
