Did you know about Arjun Kapoor’s real life ‘Half Girlfriend’?

The title of Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor‘s upcoming film is damn interesting. By now we all are aware of the film ‘Half Girlfriend’, but do we really know what does this term ‘Half Girlfriend’ mean?

Well at the trailer launch event of ‘Half Girlfriend’, Arjun Kapoor tried to make us understand the meaning of this term. He stated, “There has always been some kind of ‘Half’ in all our lives, more so in the lives of boys, because there is always so much you want to say but then you wait for the right time. And then you realise that she suddenly comes and introduces you to her boyfriend. This has happened with me at least.”

That’s not all. The handsome hunk also shared an experience from his personal life wherein he missed out on the opportunity to express his feelings to that special someone. He narrated, “This happened with me once, I felt that I should take a couple of weeks more and get to know her, she should feel comfortable around me and then I will properly ask her out on a date. There was a lot of build-up, like what happens in films, so I got dressed in my finest and reached her birthday party thinking today is the best day to ask her. Then in proper 48 frames she enters hand in hand with another guy.”

Though he was a little disappointed to see the love of his life walking hand-in-hand with someone, he initially took it as a joke. He quipped, “Initially I thought, ‘Oh, she has come with her brother… that’s nice’, so I go up to her and wish her and she turns and say, ‘have you met my boyfriend, he just proposed to me today!’ That’s when I thought, I wish I had met her four hours earlier, things would have been different. But now I hardly speak to her, currently she is happily married and settled in England and I have connected to her through common friends.”

Aww! Such a heartbreaking story! But nevermind…
