Did you know? Mohit Suri was always on Arjun Kapoor’s wishlist of directors

Every actor in Bollywood has a bucket list of directors that they would want to work with in the future, but only a few lucky ones get to fulfill their dream. One such lucky actor is Arjun Kapoor, who will next be seen ‘Half Girlfriend’, directed by Mohit Suri.

Not everyone knows that Mohit has always been on the wishlist of Arjun. In fact, when Aditya Chopra met Arjun to launch him in ‘Ishaqzaade’, the filmmaker asked him to name a few of his favourite directors and Mohit was among them. This is why when Mohit approached Arjun to play the lead in ‘Half Girlfriend’, which is a romantic musical, he was thrilled. The two also used to have discussions about the actor’s character in the film and his look. According to Arjun, Mohit showcases romance amazingly on screen.

‘Half Girlfriend’ which also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the female lead is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name. The film is set to hit the theaters on May 19 this year, and is extremely close the actor’s heart because of the above reason.
