Did you know? Tabu had first said NO to ‘Golmaal Again’. Here is why

The fourth instalment of Rohit Shetty‘s hit franchise ‘Golmaal’ is in the offing. Titled ‘Golmaal Again’, the shoot for the same will start in no time now. However, there has been a slight change in the starcast this time. While Kareena Kapoor has been replaced by Parineeti Chopra, ‘Golmaal Again’ will also star actress Tabu.

All her fans are super excited to see the actress showcase her comic sense and Tabu has been gushing about her role in the film. But not everyone knows that the actress had initially turned it down. She apparently wasn’t happy with her role and Rohit had to change it as per her liking. (Also Read: Sriram Raghavan’s next to feature Ayushmann Khurrana and Tabu?)

Says the source, “When Rohit Shetty went to Tabu with the narration she wasn’t too happy with her role. It was almost like a special appearance and she didn’t have much to do. It’s the role of an astrologer who makes some funny predictions. But the filmmaker wanted only Tabu in that role as she’s a very talented actress so Rohit asked her for some time. He went back with his team of writers and re-wrote the character only for her. When he went to her with the new script, she loved the role and said yes. Now, it is meatier and has more shades.”

We are just glad she finally gave a nod.
