Shahid Kapoor: It would be difficult to leave the baby

Actor Shahid Kapoor is already riding high on the success of his latest release ‘Udta Punjab’ and its successful run at the box-office. The actor is also on cloud nine due to his upcoming fatherhood.

The actor was in Madrid this weekend hosting the IIFA 2016 Awards. In an interview to a leading daily, Shahid talked about his fatherhood and how things will be changing for him. Shahid said, “It will be tough to leave home for a few months (smiles), as the first year of having a baby is the cutest. So, it would be difficult to leave the baby.” Also speaking about how good a father will he be, the actor said, “We will discover that. That’s the fun of it, to find out things as they come along.”

The actor also spoke about the recent CBFC controversy surrounding ‘Udta Punjab’ and quipped, “Sometimes you go through self-introspection, and are like, ‘have I done something wrong?’ But every time I used to see the film, I found it to be an honest effort. Also, at times, the perception of something can be a lot bigger than reality.”
