Diljit Dosanjh denies being a part of Akshay Kumar’s film produced by Salman Khan

Of late, Salman Khan and Karan Johar’s co-production venture starring Akshay Kumar has been making it to the headlines quite frequently. Reports were doing the rounds that Salman Khan opted out of this film because of the subject of the film. Apparently, his good friend Ajay Devgn is also making a film based on Battle of Saragrahi and hence, Salman backed out of the film. But later, through his Twitter handle, Salman rubbished all the rumours.

Apart from this, rumours also had it that the makers have roped in ‘Udta Punjab’ star Diljit Dosanjh too, to play a pivotal role in this film. But here’s comes a clarification. Diljit himself has denied all the reports and has stated that he has nothing to do with this film.

He quoted to a leading daily, “Those are wrong reports. I am not doing anything in it. It’s a big film and a big subject. I am not in the film but there is excitement for Anurag (Singh). He is an amazing person and I am very happy for him.”

Okay then! May be not this one, but we are excited for Diljit’s upcoming film ‘Phillauri’ co-starring Anushka Sharma. We have already love him through the trailer of the film and we are sure that he would make everyone fall in love with him with his performance.
