Diljit Dosanjh sings for his debut film, ‘Udta Punjab’!

News is that Punjab’s superstar Diljit Dosanjh has sung the next song from ‘Udta Punjab’ titled ‘Ikk Kudi’. The multifaceted actor who also is the most loved pop singer back in the industry has lent his voice for this particular song. The song features Diljit Dosanjh singing the track at a restaurant and here’s an exclusive still from the same!

It’s a Punjabi number and Diljit Dosanjh has no doubt done full justice to it. After singing several popular hit tracks like ‘Proper Patola’, ‘Tung Tung Baje’, ‘Pagg Wala Munda’, ‘Patiala Peg’ etc for films and singles, this soulful melody is the latest addition to the actor’s collection.

When contacted, Diljit Dosanjh shared, “I was extremely glad to know that Shri Shiv Kumar Batalvi’s poem ‘Ikk Kudi’ would be featured in my debut Hindi film. And more that I am so excited and happy that I got to sing it. It was really an experience which will always be special for me. I hope people like the song as much as I do.”

The actor moreover is receiving great response for his courageous character in ‘Udta Punjab’. The multifaceted actor who is an icon of the Punjabi industry is inundated with congratulatory messages.
