‘Dishoom 2’: Makers planning for a 2017 release

John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez are riding high on the success of their recently released flick ‘Dishoom’, which has been garnering praises from nooks and corners.

While we still aren’t over the ‘Dishoom’ fever as yet, producer Sajid Nadiadwala is apparently planning the sequel of the movie already. Not just this, sources also reveal that the script is all set and the film is likely to roll out by this year-end. A 2017 release is is planned for the sequel. A source says to a leading daily, “The makers had a meeting with Varun and John about making ‘Dishoom 2’, and they couldn’t be more excited. At this point, the actors are trying to work out their dates so that shooting can begin at the earliest. Jacqueline will feature alongside them in the next one too.”

An official announcement about the sequel is expected this week. “Since ‘Dhoom 4’, another film in the same genre [buddy-cop], is likely to be announced next week, Sajid Nadiadwala wants to declare plans of making ‘Dishoom 2’ before that,” adds another source.
