Divorce story gets ugly, Karisma Kapoor challenges Sunjay Kapur’s plea!

Even though she is not making any appearance in films, Karisma Kapoor has been making it to the headlines all thanks to her twisted divorce story with husband Sunjay Kapur. The lady who sacrificed her successful Bollywood career post marriage is now fighting a legal battle to seek a divorce from her husband. With many twist and turns, this divorce saga has surely become an ugly one.

Last we had heard that Sunjay accused Karisma for marrying him just for his money and nothing else. He filed a petition in the court seeking for the interim custody of their two kids Samara and Kiaan. To this, Karisma has now challenged this plea of Sunjay. According to the reports, Karisma’s legal counsel has now opposed Sunjay’s demand for custody. On the other hand, the lawyers of the industrialist too raised a question asking why there Karisma’s legal team hasn’t replied to their petition.

The next hearing on this case has been scheduled for March 3.

Giving a summary of this story, Karisma and Sunjay filed for divorce on mutual consent in 2014. But, later both of them withdrew consensual clause as both were not happy with the terms and conditions put forth by each other.
