Yesterday, the trailer of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s upcoming film ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ was released by the makers. The trailer has been receiving praises from all and sundry, for it promises to be yet another winner from this talented performer. However, something was heard from the trailer launch event of the movie, something not quite pleasant. Reports suggested that actress Divya Dutta, who plays an integral part in this film, had walked out from the event, apparently in tears. The reason being that she was left ignored as the whole cast and crew went up to the stage. She had a word with the team and was reportedly seen leaving the venue in tears. Well, these reports were certainly to hard to believe. And finally, we have a clarification from the actress herself, who has rubbished these rumours.
Divya Dutta quoted to a leading daily, saying, “I have passed that stage in life, really. I have been around for twenty years! I left because it got late and I had other commitments. Before leaving I spoke to the director, Kushan Nandy. If I had felt like that (left out), I would go up on stage anyway!” [sic] (Also Check: The real reason why Chitrangda Singh walked out of ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’)
