“Doing something totally different in Sarbjit”: Richa Chadda

Actress Richa Chadda sounds really optimistic about her upcoming film ‘Sarbjit’ where she plays the protagonist’s wife. “I always try and do something very different. I am doing something totally different in Sarbjit. It is very challenging and above all it is a biopic, so it comes with a lot of responsibility”- she stated in an interview.

‘Sarbjit’ directed by Omung Kumar is based on the true story of an Indian farmer who was convicted on charges of terrorism in Pakistan. Randeep Hooda plays the title role while Richa will be seen playing his on-screen wife.

The shoot, presently, is at a halt.  “We were shooting but with New Year and Christmas, everyone is with their families so we will resume shooting again in January.”-the actress said.

The film is slated to release on May 20th.
