Either Alia Bhatt or Sonam Kapoor to be Shah Rukh Khan’s next leading lady

It was recently that the news of Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif teaming up for Aanand L Rai’s next film came into the limelight. The reports also suggested that the movie will one more actress playing an integral part in the film and here is an interesting update on the same.

According to a report in DNA, Aanand has already approached two actresses for the role of the other leading lady, apart from Kat and they are Alia Bhatt and Sonam. A source revealed to the daily, “He has had discussions with both Alia and Sonam for the role. He has briefed both of them about the film and the maker will finalise the cast in about 10 days from now.” Aanand too confirmed the same, without divulging the names, “Yes, it’s a two-heroine film and there are actors in my mind. But it’s a little too early to talk about it right now. I am sure people will be surprised with what I’m coming up with in a month’s time.”

The movie will see Shah Rukh as a midget, but the actresses too will have an important part in the film. Source added, “Aanand Rai is known for his well-sketched out characters. He will never compromise on the script. Even in this film, there’s no reason for backlash between two heroines because both the roles are equally interesting. There shouldn’t be a problem of screen-time and prominence.”
