Ekta Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput team up for a film directed by Abhishek Kapoor

Everyone knows how Sushant Singh Rajput made his acting debut with Ekta Kapoor’s popular TV soap ‘Pavitra Rishta’, and that he was a part of the show for a good few years, before he moved to Bollywood for his big break.

Post that, he starred in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kai Po Che’, which was his debut in the film industry, and impressed one and all with his acting prowess. Sushant’s latest venture, ‘M.S. Ekta and Sushant were to come together for Mohit Suri’s ‘Half Girlfriend’, but the actor opted out citing date issues. It was later that the makers zeroed on Arjun Kapoor for this role. Everyone thought that there would be some bitterness between Ekta and Sushant after this episode, but let us tell you, there was no love lost between the two, and the parting of ways was amicable.

Ekta and Sushant have always kept in touch and the recent example of the same was Karan Johar’s Valentine’s party, were the two were seen getting all cute and clicking pictures with each other.

And now, after all this wait, the two are set to collaborate for a film, titled ‘KedarNath’, which will again be directed by ‘Kai Po Che’ director Abhishek Kapoor, who also happens to be Ekta’s cousin.

Apart from this, Sushant will next be seen in Dinesh Vijan’s ‘Raabta’, alongside Kriti Sanon.
