I am enjoying the more structured focus on work, Gauri Khan opens up

The first lady of Bollywood, Gauri Khan, has excelled in every field she has been a part of. Whether it is to be a good wife to a superstar or a mother to starkids or to be a successful entrepreneur, Gauri Khan has left her mark in every given thing. Recently, she inaugurated the first ever restaurant designed by her, called ‘Arth’. In an interview with HT Cafe, she spoke about having an identity of her own apart from being the first lady of Bollywood.

When asked about being referred to as the first lady of Bollywood, Gauri says, “I’ve always had my identity, even if you didn’t see it. There is a time for everything in life. Earlier, the kids needed more attention, and that’s where I wanted to put my energy. But now, with the two of them having grown up, there’s more time, so I am enjoying the more structured focus on work.”

Stating that her husband Shah Rukh Khan is of a great support to her, Gauri said, “Shah Rukh is very talented with design and he is extremely creative. In fact, I discuss work with him off and on, and our conversations are always fruitful.”
