Arijit Singh’s FB post apologizing Salman Khan in public and begging him to keep his song in ‘Sultan’ has got everyone talking. Even though we still don’t know Salman’s side of the story, his spokesperson says that he had no hard feelings for the singer.

We got singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya EXCLUSIVELY to speak about the matter and the situation of singers in the industry today. When asked about Arijit Singh, Abhijeet bluntly said, “Who is he? Who is Arijit?”

He further spoke about how there was nothing to be apologetic about and one has to blend with the situation that is today. “There were days when makers used to wait for singers for 4 to 5 days. I am glad I belonged to that era when people used to wait for me for one month. Today 20-30 singers sing the same song, out of which one is selected. In one film there are 10 music directors. What is their position? Their situation is like a beggar themselves, then forget getting respect for singers,” he added.

He further added how one should respect their profession with dignity instead of apologizing.

Do you agree with Abhijeet?
