Expect something mind-blowing! Katrina Kaif trains with ‘The Dark Knight’ action director

Last three of her films, in a row, have done low to very average business at the box office. After much hassle, ‘Jagga Jasoos’ is set to release but no one knows what fate has in store for it. Given the situation, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ could just be the right dose of rejuvenation for Katrina Kaif. We earlier reported that Katrina will be seen performing some high-octane action sequences for the film. She is leaving no stone unturned to ensure she punches as hardly as she can!

According to Indian Express, director Ali Abbas Zafar roped in Hollywood’s renowned action director Tom Struthers for training Katrina. “Director Ali Abbas Zafar has committed to deliver action, stunts and fight sequences that will compete with global standards with ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. To shoot for Katrina’s action scenes, Tom Struthers, the action and stunt director of the film worked with her. Buster Reeves, the fight coordinator of many Hollywood films, also worked with Katrina on this portion. Given Struthers shot for certain action sequences for Christopher Nolan’s Batman films including the ‘Dark Knight Rises’, expect the absolute best from these scenes. There are also stuntmen from France, UK and Spain involved in this portion, which is quite elaborate,” a source told Indian Express.

Also starring Salman Khan, the film is set to release on December 22.
