Farhan Akhtar claims ‘Sultan’ – ‘Raees’ clash inevitable

Shah Rukh Khan ‘s upcoming film Raees is all set to clash with good friend Salman Khan’s Sultan on Eid 2016. The news has sent shock waves throughout the industry. As the release of two major Blockbusters together spells disaster for one of them at the Box Office. There were rumours that the clash might be averted with one of them changing the date of their films release.

Producer Farhan Akhtar opens up on the impending clash, he said that this has happened in the past when there have been two big releases on the same day and both of them have done well, so this depends on the audience.

Farhan further added, it’s the right of a filmmaker to release a film on a chosen date and he hopes that both of them will have enough followers and admirers. So if a person makes a good film then it will work no matter which film it’s chasing. Therefore if Raees and Sultan turn out to be good films, both will do equally well at the box office.
