Farhan Akhtar is a doting father to his two daughters Shakya and Akira Akhtar. The actor-filmmaker has been staying separately from his wife Adhuna Bhabani for over a year now, but both of them share a strong bond when it comes to their daughters. Today, Farhan’s younger daughter Akira celebrates her birthday and to make this day more special, the doting daddy has shared an inspiring message for her on social media. Farhan Akhtar took to his Twitter handle to share this birthday wish along with an adorable picture of him and Akira. He has written, “Be all you can be, Be fearless my child, be free.” [sic]

Last year, if many would remember, Farhan had written an open letter to his elder daughter Shakya under a social campaign where he spoke about his inhibitions as a father explaining about rape and how her body is only hers.
